Privacy

• Public website documents. Our crawler, EveryReaderBot, reads public pages of government and school websites and the documents linked from them, to build an inventory and check accessibility. We do not log in, fill out forms, or read anything behind a password.
• Public work contact information. Names, titles, work email addresses and work phone numbers that public organizations publish about their staff, such as a superintendent or town administrator.
• What you give us. When you use “Check your site” or sign in, we keep your name, title, work email and organization website so we can verify you and set up your portal. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Documents you order. The files we remediate for you and the reports we produce, stored for delivery to your organization.

• We do not collect or email personal email addresses. Outreach goes only to published work addresses at public organizations.
• We do not sell or rent contact information.
• We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

Our emails are written to follow the CAN-SPAM Act (FTC CAN-SPAM compliance guide): they identify us as the sender and include a postal address and an unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe we stop emailing that address. You can also reply “unsubscribe” or write to farid@purelyworks.com.

To correct or remove your contact information, email farid@purelyworks.com. We will confirm when it is done.
